GREGORY MAUGE
Gregory Mauge, a distinguished art expert, continues his family's tradition in 17th to 19th century decorative art and sculpture, a legacy initiated by his father. His career began in the family business, providing him with practical experience.
In 1999, he founded Gregory Mauge Fine Arts, offering expertise in art consultancy and curation, and has served notable clients like Bruce Kovner and the Sapersteins at the Fleur de Lys Estate in Holmby Hills, Los Angeles. Mr. Mauge specializes in authenticity assessment, historical research, appraisal, and private collection curation, often employing advanced scientific methods.
His academic contributions are notable, including participation in international symposiums and publications such as 'De l’hôtel de Charost à l’hôtel Borghèse' and forthcoming publications dedicated to François (Francesco) Belloni. Additionally, since 1997, he has been a member of the Centre de Recherche sur les Maîtres Ébénistes in Paris, dedicated to researching 18th-century cabinetmakers.
A graduate of the Ecole du Louvre and the Courtauld Institute of Art, Mr. Mauge's educational background complements his professional achievements, making him a preeminent figure in his field.

Since the year 1984, Augarde has held a prestigious position as a Special Consultant for furniture and works of art at several distinguished institutions. Among them, the renowned J. Paul Getty Museum in Los Angeles, the esteemed Marmottan Museum in Paris, the esteemed Bayerische Verwaltung der staatlichen Schlösser, Gärten und Seen in Munich, as well as the esteemed Cleveland Museum of Art in Cleveland, among others.
Furthermore, since 1978, Jean-Dominique Augarde has dutifully served as the managing director of the esteemed S.C.P. Jean Ronfort, showcasing his remarkable acumen and dedication to the field of art history.
