Member of the Academia dell’Arcadia in 1793

Director of the school of Pierres dures et Mosaiques of Milan created in 1804 by Eugène de Beauharnais, Vice-Roi of Italy

 

The bronze base attributed to

Francesco Righetti (Rome, 1749-Rome, 1819)

Cast and gilded bronze, pietra dura marble top: amethyst, lapis lazuli, jasper, cornelian, labradorite, petrified wood, and others
